Product selection and guidance transition to new VOIP solution at an internationally operating company

A reputable internationally operating Dutch company, specializing in computer and network security, asked H2B to guide it in the transition to a new VoIP based telephony solution. The company supports its international clients on the basis of 24×7 accessibility with various departments, specialized in cryptography, cybercrime and digital forensic research.

The switch to a new VoIP technology-based control center contributes to the innovative and flexible character of the organization and ensures optimal accessibility of the various departments. By switching from traditional ISDN lines to a VoIP trunk, costs are also saved and the dependency on fixed infrastructure is greatly reduced.

During the implementation, H2B has placed a strong focus on the security of the new infrastructure. For this purpose, an IPSEC connection with the telecom provider has been set up, an on-premise SBC has been installed to filter malicious SIP traffic and various measures have been implemented to prevent undesired telephone traffic.

The implementation has been completed with the implementation of various customer-specific requirements such as call-waiting i.c.m. BLF, integration into the existing monitoring and integration with the existing fax solution of the customer. Naturally, manageability is included during all phases of the project to facilitate a thorough and well-documented transfer to the customer’s operational department.
